BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Township of Faraday accept the Reports provided by the Clerk, Deputy Clerk and Operations Department; AND FURTHER that Council approve the draft 2026 budget, as discussed and amended and that the Clerk be directed to prepare a By-law for presentation at the April 01, 2026 council meeting to provide for the adoption of the levy, to provide for the adoption of tax rates and to further provide for penalty and interest in default of payment thereof for the 2026 year. PLEASE NOTE: Although the overall budget was adopted by all of Council, Councillor Bowers was specifically opposed to that part of the budget dealing with general donations in the amount of $5,000.00 and a donation to the Bancroft Hospital in the amount of $10,000.00. All other members of council were in agreement with the general donations and the donation to the Bancroft Hospital. -
